Associate Consultant, Security Services

Location: Brazil , Sao Paulo

Preferred
Spanish language skills
ASIS or similar certifications (CPP, PSP)
Military or police background

Job Purpose 
Based in São Paulo, the Associate Consultant will assist on the day-to-day delivery of security services to  clients, primarily in Brazil and further afield as required.
The Associate Consultant provides consultancy advice and training to clients, primarily in the area of security service as well as organizing, managing and coordinating sub-contractors in the delivery of client tasks.
The Associate Consultant will be a proficient generalist able to scope opportunities with account managers, write and price proposals, service much of the work and assist Project Managers in invoicing and collecting payment. All working with others in a team-based approach.
The incumbent is a fee-earning Associate Consultant with relevant education and/or experience who commands substantial revenues through direct fee-earning and project management.

Tasks and responsibilities

Service multiple assignments as project team member, responsible for assisting in delivery of task requirements
Service particularly complex or multi-faceted tasks in coordination with Security Service Consultant and/or SCS practice head
Conduct security awareness and prevention-focused training sessions
Work closely with Consultants in the Americas and around the world on the delivery of client tasks
Assist in management of subcontractors
Attend meetings with clients and potential clients
Write proposals and reports for clients and potential clients
Make presentations to clients
Achieve client satisfaction
Domestic and international travel, as necessary, to serve clients
Ensure that client invoices are accurate, complete and timely
Keep practice head regularly advised of business activity


Knowledge and experience
Essential
2-4 years’ private sector background in security or business risk consultancy or minimum 5 years’ experience in armed forces, law enforcement or intelligence
Deep understanding of Executive Protection and Security Risk Management methodologies
Superior Portuguese and English writing skills
Security service experience
University bachelor’s degree
